Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho

After breakfast, explore a fascinating aspect of Vietnam’s long struggle to free itself from Western control. Begun by the Viet Minh on the outskirts of Saigon in 1945, as shelter from French air raids, these tunnels were expanded in the 1960s by the Viet Cong, who extended them for many miles. Only a small stretch of this network is open to the public, but if you’re venturesome, you may climb down into a tunnel for an up-close look.We will bid farewell to the hustle and bustle of Saigon and travel 70 kilometers south to My Tho to embark on your luxury cruise for a journey along the Mighty Mekong. After a crew warmly welcomes, you can check in to your well prepared staterooms. The afternoon will allow you to have some free time on your private balcony or join our tea time at the open air bar.
